For BA LLB (Hons): Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2018 can also apply
Age Limit: Below 21 years as on 01st July 2018 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates). Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying exam
Total Seats: 80 seats, 10 seats are set aside for Foreign Nationals
Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities [One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants; two supernumerary seats for students from J&K subject to approval of Governing Council; the candidates have to appear in the AILET and fulfill the eligibility criteria as applicable

Admission to B.A.-LL.B (Hons), LL.M & PhD Programs will be through AILET. Candidates should score at least 40% of the marks in the AILET (30% for SC/ ST candidates) In AILET exam, 150 questions with 150 marks need to be solved within 1 hour 30 minutes. The AILET has sections on English, General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Legal Aptitude.
